This year BRANDSROCK again managed the Jose Cuervo campaign as headline sponsor for Oppikoppi 2012 - South Africa's biggest live music festival.
The Cuervo Oppikoppi 2012 campaign started 2 months prior to the event with a You.Me.Cuervo® online promotion , social media campaign (co-developed by our partners at Virtual Architects) and activations in selected On-Trade outlets.


During the 3 day Festival which saw a sell-out crowd of 20,000 people attend - the BRANDSROCK Team flawlessly managed a full program of activations, redemtion station value adds & Cuervo VIP Deck engagement sessions where our very own Rudi Cronje was again the cool Master of Ceremony.
Our Teams implemented a Peel & Reveal mechanic at the You.Me.Cuervo® redemtion station to drive sales and reward festivalgoers with prizes to make their experience more enjoyable. These prizes included lanyards, Cuervo rings & the ever popular Cuervo Stetsons. Further value ads included a phone charging station, free wi-fi in the Cuervo chill areas as well as a cool mobile application.



BRANDSROCK also partnered with 3 South African bands - Taxi Violence, aKing & Jack Parow to generate content for video uploads. Another festival winner were the Cuervo Crowd Balls which provided much fun during the jampacked performances.
Overall this year's Cuervo Oppikoppi campaign was a huge success with every target set by client exceed. Not to mention the 23% sales uplift (yoy) during the campaign.
